Combined Pressure Reducing & Desuperheating Valve to Control
Pressure & Temperature. For the safe
handling of very high drops and the control of high velocities
associated with steam power generation, the combined pressure
reducing and desuperheating unit is the ideal solution. A major use
is with back-pressure turbines supplying exhaust steam to process.
Should the turbine be shut down for any reason the steam rejected
is bypassed through the valves, which serve to reduce it to the
required process conditions.
