Weir Power Industrial Services Europe is

originally awarded in 2001, through the hard work and
determination of Darren Harris, service centre manager, Jim
McNaught, technical sales engineer and the whole Warwick team, has
been extended for a further three years until 2010.
Weir Power and Industrial Services Europe now

and self-determination enabled the award of the Framework

operating cost and the cost repair and maintenance.
The supply of surface pumps including the

cost, string testing of pumps, the supply of spares, the provision
of technical support including reviewing STW specifications.
Weir also provides Severn Trent with our engineering excellence;
this allows them to have all the advice they need. Our assistance
is lent with matters on installation, warranty and
consultation.
Larry Beard, purchasing director said: “Severn
Trent is eager to minimise wasted effort and maximising added value
by all parties. We were looking for a contractor that has common
goals in reducing overall costs whilst delivering the capital
programme and high levels of service to Severn Trent
Consumers.” The company that they felt could meet all of the
above needs was Weir Power and Industrial Services
